To our New and Existing Patients:

To insure your safety we follow infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS). We monitor the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

We have added Transmission Based Precautions to our current infection control Standard Precautions. This includes improved office air quality and containment of dental aerosol, patient scheduling and placement protocol to maintain proper patient distancing, respiratory protection (all staff members and patients not in treatment wear masks), and COVID screening of our employees and appointed patients to minimize the risk of exposure.

Here are some changes you should expect at your next appointment:

  • When you arrive for your appointment you will check in from the parking lot by phone. We will call you when we are ready to safely receive you.
  • We will ask you to use our hand sanitizer when you enter the building; And please wear a mask.
  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines and children's books since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing. This might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, our community, and staff  safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office number (781) 767-2550.

Thank you for your patience. We appreciate your trust and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Sincerely,

Charles P. Levesque, DMD
